CSA stands for community supported agriculture. It usually means you purchase a 'share' of a farm's harvest, but can also include things like baked goods, meat, eggs, honey, or fish (if you live near a coast). If you are trying to eat locally and seasonally, having a CSA share forces you to commit and enjoy! When I looked into CSAs in the area, my main criteria was variety, flexibility, and delivery... and after 2 summers... I look forward to every delivery (my CSA is New Century in Circleville, OH).
